Report Two: Exploring

[For the past few weeks Meryl has mostly kept to herself, still trying to understand everything that was going on and trying to get used to all the green everywhere. Today you can find her in a few places. 

 

A. In the park you can find a woman practising her shooting. She's got a few tin cans set up on some rocks and taking aim at them with the gun she got from Nina. She's a very good shot. 

B. In the flower store. She's buying some random flowers for the house. They look nice alright? Even if she doesn't seem like the sort of person who'd like flowers. 

 

C. Looking at the pool in the rec center....you ...can swim in water? Isn't that a waste?]

I see. That kind of bank would go bankrupt where I'm from.

Well as long as people pay their insurance fee's we don't go bankrupt. No matter how many disasters we have.

But my job is usually to go and make sure that the claims are legit and that people aren't trying to get free money. I work with another agent of the company named Milly Thompson.

So if an entire planet was razed, you'd be able to pay out? Where'd you get all that money from.

A planet?

I think if the planet was destroyed we'd have a little more to worry about then insurance.

It happens quite a bit. Then again, there are more planets out there than I can count.

I'm coming to understand that but it's a shame. I wouldn't mind spending a couple weeks in the Warp to come grab you off a planet.

That's nice of you to say. But I'm probably one of the ones who would stay. Gunsmoke isn't much, but it's home.

Doesn't mean you couldn't travel on vacation. Though, with a planet name like Gunsmoke, I don't recommend you travel to Valhalla.

Mostly. It was probably a decent place until it moved too far away from its sun. Then it froze.

Plenty of them. I'm currently attached to the 597th Valhallan Regiment in the Imperial Guard.

Cold. These guys turn the air conditioning to below freezing when they travel.
